Update!

Funny just after I mention not hearing from Shooters I get the call saying everything is a "go". So I'll be starting this project right after I'm done with Epic.

New work

I'm starting a small project for Epic Studios today. Just a one day thing, but they may have more. still no word from Shooters on that project that was first brought up a couple weeks ago. Though I was told last week That I'd be contacted by another guy I know there who's producing the spot.

I've also signed up for Acclaim's project "Top Secret", along with more than 20,000 other people. The idea is that all of these people get together to make a game and of those people one will be chosen to direct their next game. Also Acclaim and possibly other companies will be hiring from the group. I don't know how much time I'll have to work on it, but it should be fun.

Berklee Scores Chimera

200 Student s and 5 schools gathered for their biggest effort to date, a 150 piece orchestra. And what did they record? Why the new score for the film that my class made at The DAVE School, of course, "Chimera".

Addy Awards

The NCAA Basketball Final Four opening I worked on with Shooters won an Addy award last night for special effects. That's pretty much all the details I have at the moment.

Here's the winners list:

More work to be done

I finished up my week at Shooters and was then asked to do something else which I should be starting shortly, the news helicopter for ABC 7 in NY needs to be modeled for their HD commercials. I also may have work coming in with Epic Studios and one other place.

In other news March 1st was my birthday and this past weekend I went to Atlantic City with some friends. I didn't win anything, but I had a good time and that's what really matters.
